Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper!

LIST: Colours (black, dark rainbow) , Techniques (die cutting) , Elements (patterned paper, trees with rainbow background, black square focal area with embossed edges and critter, dragonfly brads, no sentiment)

INCLUDE: black, dark rainbow, embossing

MODIFY: used stamping, heat embossing and watercolor powders to create my background, swirls instead of trees, sentiment instead of critter, rectangle instead of square focal area

EXCLUDE: critter

SPIN:

I had a lot of fun playing with watercolour powders on top of a heat embossed design. The vertical swirls are a bit like the trees, and I just kept adding colours and water until I was happy with it. Once dry, I spritzed the panel with shimmer spray and gold watercolour splatter. My sentiment was cut from a panel that I made with just one of the watercolour powders and stacked up on a black strip that had been embossed.
