Pink Cosmos

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper!

LIST: Colours , (olive, pink/red, white) Techniques (stamping, die cutting) , Elements (single flower on circle die cut and mat, strip of smaller flowers/leaves, faux stitching, scalloped edge, no sentiment)

INCLUDE: Olive, pink white, die cutting, single flower on circle die cut and mat, no sentiment

MODIFY: flower is stenciled instead of stamped, my horizontal element is scoring on the olive background

EXCLUDE: faux stitching, scallop

SPIN:

I love the richness of the green background in my inspiration with the pops of white and pinks/reds. I used a layered colouring stencil set, and isolated just one of the flowers, and used the leaves to create texture on my circular frame, rather than as part of the flower.
