I created my background paper with my gel plate and some Versafine Clair inks, mixing blue and green, and pink and yellow to get the tones I was looking for. I water stamped my background to give a similar look of subtle texture and dug out one of my oldes, favourite florals to be my focal point.
My sentiment is stamped (it’s a ‘reverse sentiment’, where the background is solid so that the sentiment appears white). I used the same mix of pink and yellow inks to get a perfect match with my background. I added stickles for some sparkle.
