LIMES - Mocha Mousse Floral

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper!

LIST: Colours brown, blue, beige, green, black, pink , Techniques die cutting, ink blending, embossing , Elements (beige pig with pink cheek, holding green toy at water’s edge, black die cut sentiment at the top, black mat

INCLUDE: brown, blue, beige, green, pink, die cutting, embossing

MODIFY: changed black to dark brown, background technique is ink blending, whole background is embossed, pig and toy is now a flower with leaves behind

EXCLUDE: sentiment

SPIN: square card

I don’t make a lot of critter/character type cards, so I decided to focus on the beautiful, rich colours in my inspiration and embrace Pantone’s colour of the year - Mocha Mousse. I used ink blending to create all my elements, including a new mix of grey and cream to create the beige petals.
