LIMES - Mother’s Day 2 Ways
Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!
I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper!
LIST: Colours (white, yellow, green, pink, lilac) , Techniques (die cutting) , Elements (floral background, diagonal yellow element, die cut butterflies and flower, vellum layer behind the butterfly, pearl embellishments, die cut happy birthday sentiment)
INCLUDE: white, yellow, green, lilac, die cutting, floral background, diagonal element, butterfly
MODIFY: floral background is stenciled and embossed, moved sentiment up, small differences in my 2 for 1 panels. Yellow panel has solar paste dots instead of a white floral die cut.
EXCLUDE: pearls
SPIN: 2 for 1 technique
My inspiration is a lovely spring design, perfect for Mother’s Day, which happens in March in the UK (where my MIL lives). I created two panels - one with a layered stencil and embossing folder, and one with ink and some paste, and created two similar cards, finished with small differences.
