LIMES - Thinking of You

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (purple, green, white, black,) , Techniques (stamping, colouring, die cutting) , Elements (purple flowers with green leaves on white panel with black scalloped frame, vertical crimped stripes in background, horizontal sentiment strip)

INCLUDE: purple, green, white, black, purple flowers with green leavves on white panel,

MODIFY: stamped diagonal stripes in background, stenciled flowers, moved sentiment (without strip)

EXCLUDE: black scalloped frames

SPIN:

My inspiration is serene and elegant, and perfect for a thinking of you card. I used a layering stencil set, intending to use the coordinating die to cut it out, but only realized at the end that I had stenciled through the backs of the stencils, so the die wouldn’t fit! lol! I adapted and left it on the panel. I stamped my background to mimic the dimensional background of the inspiration and used yellow splatter instead of yellow flower centres.
