LIMES - Happy Golden Birthday

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (red, white, yellow, brown, pink) , Techniques (die cut with patterned paper behind, inkblending) , Elements (flower backgroound with a bear, die cut sentiment with a shadow, paper flowers with gem centres)

INCLUDE: red, white, gold, brown, die cut sentiment with shadow

MODIFY: stenciled background instead of patterned paper, z-fold

EXCLUDE: bears/critters, flowers, gems

I love the golden brown of the bears but I didn’t have anything similar. I used a floral stencil and yellow and brown inks to give a similar look, along with pinks and reds for the berries. I created a z-fold card, and adhered my die cut sentiment so it is centered when the card is closed but moves freely with the left side of the fun fold.
