LIMES - Elegant Thanks

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (teal, gold, white) , Techniques (stamping, die cut, ) , Elements (stamped tone on tone botanicals on base, mat of gold foiled patterned paper, stamped tone on tone focal panel, gold die cut, botanical ephemera and sentiment strip)

INCLUDE: teal, gold, white, die cut, tone on tone background, gold patterned outline of focal panel, botanical

MODIFY: watercoloured/stenciled backgroound, circle instead of square focal panel, one botanical element, die cut negative frame and sentiment,

EXCLUDE: sentiment strip

SPIN: square z fold card

I love the rich colours in the inspiration card and I had made a (pretty ugly, if I do say so myself) teal watercolour panel earlier this month, with no idea what to do with it. It worked perfectly here with some stenciling! I created my gold frame by using a circle die that cuts out little pieces around the border, and putting that back in the background and putting the whole thing over a gold panel, so that it could peek through.
