LIMES - Butterfly Thank you

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week’s Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper:

LIST: Colours (white, yellow, pink green, blue) , Techniques (stamping, die cutting) , Elements (spring patterned paper with flowers and butterflies, circular sentiment ‘strip’, die cut half frame around sentiment)

INCLUDE: white, yellow, pink, green, blue, stamping, die cutting, butterrflies, circular focal panel with focus on half

MODIFY: colours in focal panel, background is tone on tone

EXCLUDE: ribbon

SPIN: size of card to 3x4.25 plus circle focal panel (4.25x4.25 in total)

I loved the idea of focusing on a half circle - the inspiration is very clever and appears to just cover the other half of that die cut frame with the patterned paper. I decided to make a ‘half’ card (3x4.25 top folding) and have my circular focal panel extend beyond. I focused on one colour (yellow) and let the other 3 be supporting players in the circle frame.
