I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper!

LIST: Colours (green, blue, pink) , Techniques (stamping) , Elements (patterned paper with circles, horizontal strip holding ‘card in card’ format, brads

INCLUDE: green, blue, circle patterned background

MODIFY: left out pink to make it masculine for my dad’s birthday, die cut sentiment

EXCLUDE: pink, horizontal strip with brads.

SPIN:

I love a background with circles and the pretty patterned paper in my inspiration really caught my eye. I used a stencil and blue and green inks to create a background for my dad’s birthday card. Then I customized my ‘Happy Birthday to You’ die cut and created a ‘dad’ by cutting some partial die cuts and using some of the letters.

This card is also my second “25 in 25” technique - customizing a die cut!
