Fluffy or flat?

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper!

LIST: Colours (blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, black, white) , Techniques (stenciled background, die cuts, ephemera?) , Elements (dots on background, multiple stars, moon, boy and sentiment strip, small silver stars on background)

INCLUDE: blue, green, yellow, pink, stencilled background, dimensional stars,

MODIFY: Astro paste on background, die cut stars, die cut sentiment

EXCLUDE: boy, moon

These colours and textures in the inspiration are amazing, and I went out of my comfort zone in a couple of ways. First, I used paste on my background. I love the look but I hate the clean up, so this is a rare occurrence for me! Next, I used flat star die cuts and my score board to create 3D stars, and then (another adventure!) used distress stains, shimmer spray and gold watercolour splatter to make them fancy! This card will be difficult to mail, so I made a second, flat version, using a simple technique to give the stars a look of dimension.
