Dark Mandala

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper!

LIST: Colours (black, red, purple, yellow, blue green) , Techniques (marker on heat embossing) , Elements (colourful mandala, sentiment underneath)

INCLUDE: colours, mandala

MODIFY: stamped and coloured instead of heat embossed, gray instead of black

EXCLUDE: sentiment, heat embossing

SPIN: trimmed the mandala stamp down to a circle, then placed it onto a tone on tone panel.

Claire has been an inspiration for me since the way, way back (in the Waltzingmouse days!) so I’m excited that she has been chosen this week! I stamped an old favourite stamp onto white cardstock, and used my copics to create a similar mandala. To take it to the next level, after I trimmed the coloured mandala with a circle die, I layered it onto a panel that had been stamped with the stamp in gray ink, and lined it up for a continous look. I spritzed the whole thing with shimmer spray to give some subtle sparkle.
