LIMES - Copper Happy Birthday

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper!

LIST: Colours (copper, brown, cream) , Techniques (embossing, stamping, heat emmbossing) , Elements (split background panel, geometric embossing, cream ‘tag’ with brown mat, copper embossing, button, metallic thread, ribbon

INCLUDE: copper, brown, split background panel,

MODIFY: created my copper cardstock with inks and sprays, instead of geometric embossed background, used a geometric coverplate die, die cut sentiment on white shadow

EXCLUDE: button, thread, ribbon

SPIN: square card

I love the rich copper in my inspiration, and am in need of a few masculine birthday cards in the next couple of weeks, and metallics work perfectly.

I created my copper by layering green and brown inks on cardstock, and then spritzing with a couple of Distress Spritz colours.
