Getting even more from Layering Stencils

Welcome to this week's LIMES inspiration post!

I chose this card as my inspiration from the gallery of this week's Splitcoaststampers' Featured Stamper!

LIST: Colours (white, blues, aquas), Techniques (stamping), Elements (patterned paper with layered leaf images, horizontal sentiment, ribbon, 3 gems)

INCLUDE: white, blues, aquas, stamped sentiment

MODIFY: stencilled background instead of printed paper, white flowers instead of leaves, ‘layered’ look in the background, gold watercolour splatter and used some sparkly enamel dots for the flower centres/gems

EXCLUDE: ribbon

SPIN: square card

I love the dreamy layered look of the inspiration. I started by putting the Tall Flowers stencil down on a piece of white cardstock. Then I used all 6 layers of the Overlapping Geometrics stencils with various shades of blue, aqua and green ink.

I splattered gold watercolor over with the flower stencil in place, to keep the daisies crisp and white.
